Mom Is With Jesus Now

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that my Mom went to be with Jesus This morning at 2:25am. Thank you all for all your love, support and prayers during this journey with her, we are forever grateful and Blessed by all of you.

Thanksgiving Wishes & Pictures!!

I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a VERY BLESSED THANKSGIVING!! We will be sharing our day together with our mom as this will most likely be her last one with us. I also wanted to thank each and everyone of you for your wonderful love and support and prayers. You all have no idea how much you all mean to me!! I thank God for each of you!:0)

Mom is very medicated now, although she still can talk with us and hear us, she is in bed sleeping for the most part , and the meds are making her pretty sick. I am still praying for a miracle, because God can still heal her, but we really believe her miracle will be in Heaven with her Savior!!

So this Thanksgiving is one of Thanks to our Lord for one more to share with her. I also saw on a tv commercial that Hallmark had recordable Christmas books, that you read page by page so that when you are at that page it is being read to you so  I went and picked one up and asked my mom to read it to Logan, well I am so happy that she was able to do it before she couldn’t read it any more and now we will always have this for Logan and my mom said she also said little personal things to him on it, I am so THANKFUL!!!  He will always have a part of her in his life now!!:0)

Well my sweet friends I am going to leave you with some pictures of our newly painted rooms, the bathroom has been done for a few months now and I just realized I never took pics to share with you so here they are!! The pictures show the color differently, the bathroom is called Colonial Blue by Sherwin Williams and is a deeper blue and the dining room and living room wall color is Gold by Laura Ashley and the trim is Old Gold by Laura Ashley both are from Lowe’s and they are more on the tan/brown side not yellow.

And of course here is a picture of  grammy’s lil’ man…Logan Henry!!:0)

My Heart Is Breaking………

I am sorry I haven’t posted for a while, its just been a difficult time with my mom. She is not doing well, she is in alot of pain and it seems to becoming increasingly worse, they are trying hard to get it under control but she is having a hard time doing it as she is afraid she will be so out of it she will loose contact with us, so they have been increasing her slowly, It’s just really hard to see her like this, she was always the rock of our family and its hard to have to reverse rolls. She really does not eat or drink anymore as she is very nauseous, they think its the cancer spreading and not the meds making her feel this way. :( We still are believing God can heal her if that is His desire and will to do so, but to see her it looks like He’s getting ready to take her home…..I am having a hard time letting go, this is my mommy, she is still young and has alot to give, she is such a wonderful Blessing to many, I cannot even begin to imagine her not here with us.

I don’t want to loose her, I know I’m being selfish, and I know I don’t want her suffering, but I can’t help but feel selfish as to not wanting to let her go yet. I have already lost my father 12 years ago I don’t want to loose my mom too.

I am sorry this post is a sad one but I need to get this out of me to hopefully help me with this process of letting go and letting God….. That picture of her at the beginning of this post was taken when we all went to Cape Cod in June…..she looks much differently now, but we will continue to praise God and give Him all the Glory!!! Please don’t stop praying for her, she needs your prayers now more then ever!

I am so Thankful for the time I have had with my mom here on earth and I KNOW I will be with her again someday.

~I Am So Blessed!~

 I am SO EXCITED!! I just found out I am the winner of Jenn’s awesome snow fella giveaway!! Thank you Jenn, I look so forward to getting him!!:0)

I also won yesterday a Cd package of the BeeGee’s from our local radio station who was having a flashback weekend and the cd’s were the giveaway!! :0)

I have been so truly BLESSED the last few days as my sweet honey and I have been repainting our dining room AND living room and hallway!! I decided to go with the same color in all the rooms  and all the trim is a different color as I am trying to create more of a Colonial primitive feel!!  It is such a huge change but we are loving it!!! I will post pictures when we are all done as we now have 6 doors to paint!!!LOL…We always ask ourselves WHY do we do this to ourselves!!! But it is so worth it in the end!!

My Thankfulness for today is wonderful friends who are such a wonderful blessing in my life, whether I know you in person or through the internet I am so TRULY BLESSED by each and everyone of you!! I love you all so very much!! :0) God bless you this week!!

I feel alot of times we in America skip right over Thanksgiving to get to Christmas and I just think its time to get back to the mind set of Thankfulness!!

Well as I said in my last post I will be listing something I am thankful for in every post , I am so thankful for my wonderful and adorable grandson Logan! He has just brought something into my life that I didn’t even know was missing, it was the contentment of  my family, we get so busy that we forget to stop and be happy in the moment and to really enjoy the little acheivements in life!! Lil’ Man is now standing at the furniture and walking along it as well, it won’t be long and he will be walking on his own!!

Here is the lil’ man standing and eating a biscuit with grampy!! He stood there the whole time eating never once did he fall over!! He is getting braver all the time!! :0)

He is getting a personality all of his own! He is such a ham, his newest thing is dancing while he is standing at the furniture, it is the cutest thing!!! :0)

~Wow 24 years ago today!!~

 Just another fall decorated picture of my Red cupboard that my daughter bought me a few years ago for my birthday!!

I cannot believe it is November already!! Where in the world does the time go??!! Lets see since I “talked” to you last I turned another year older!! and hopefully wiser!!:0)  My compute went capooie!!! (if that is even a word!!LOL) it turns out the hard drive fried!! Well after being on the phone over 4hrs they ended up sending me a new hard drive and I am back up and running!! Unfortuantely I lost alot of pictures I had downloaded!!! Very frustrating!! But oh well what can I do but go on, and I shall(saying very dramatically)!!!

Today is mine and Steve’s 24th wedding anniversary!! It is amazing that, that many years have gone by, we have been through many things but God has brought us through them all!!! We would not be where we are today if it wasn’t for Him!! I thank God for giving me a man who could love me through the hard times so we could and can enjoy the good times together!!

Today is also my mother and stepfather’s 35th wedding anniversary!! We celebrated their  mile stone with a big family dinner last night and it was a wonderful time spent together, sorry for no pictures I forgot my camera!! Mom got pretty emotional but that is too be expected  considering all she is going through. We went for a check up last week with her doctor and the tumor has gotten pretty big in the last 10 months but we are still believing god for her Miracle!! Thank you all again for all your love, support, and prayers they mean so much to all of us!! 

I just cannot get over how quickly October flew by, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, it is one of my favorite times of the year, as we give Thanks to God for all the blessings in our lives, I know Linda from Behind My Red Door and others are giving at least one thing they are thankful for every time they post and so I think it is a wonderful idea so I am going to join in!!

I am so Thankful to Almighty God for giving us such Grace that we are able to live each day with a new start! I am so thankful to Him for Blessing us with a wonderful and loving family!! :0)

~The Swine flu Has Come To My House!~

  I am sorry it has been a while since I posted but if you are a friend of mine on FaceBook you know that my daughter Kelly has been confirmed with the Swine Flu! Oh I tell you the hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes have become our VERY good friends! She is doing pretty well we are praying the worst of it is over, but she still is pretty worn out and coughs ALOT!  Logan was pretty sick last week but he is doing very well now! :0) Thank you God!! He now has 4 teeth and is pulling himself up to stand by the furniture! He is so adorable and is growing up too quickly!!  I am so sorry to make this so short but I just wanted to check in and let you all know what has been going on here at our house! I pray  you all are doing well and are feeling very Blessed!! :0)
